The Answer Is… Bear conch also known as Strombus Urceus.

The main characteristic for the one found in Indonesia is the black lip at the opening.

Living With Trash

Last week there was a trash wave at Pari Island. Almost of all the water around the island was covered by trash. On the bright side, i can see alot of small fishes schooling around and/or resting on the trashes…

Blue Knee Hermit Crab (although you can’t see the ‘blue spot’ clearly on this photo, sorry…) or also known as Dardanus guttatus. Residing in a spider conch’s shell.

A snorkelling paradise on the east side of Pari Island. All of these was less than 2 meters deep. Snorkellers must be careful not to break the corals when snorkelling around.
